French EPR, marketplace by marketplace

Updated 15 October 2026 · by Bachir Djebaili, founder of REP·Pro

Direct answer: Each marketplace has its own screen and its own words for French EPR; the French side is the same for all of them: one registration per scheme, one number per scheme, a representative established in France for a producer established abroad. These ten guides report what each platform publishes for its sellers, with the date of reading, and never what a platform will do: it is you who determine which schemes concern your products.

If you need a representative established in France

FrenchEPR is written by REP·Pro, an authorised representative (mandataire REP) based in Béziers. Its self-service plan registers a producer with the eco-organisation of each scheme chosen, obtains the identifier and files the declarations: one scheme €29 a month on a 12-month plan, no setup fee; up to three schemes €59; up to six €89; beyond 6 categories, monthly billing only. Eco-contributions invoiced by the eco-organisations are separate. Published prices · Appoint a representative.

Guides are general information drawn from public texts and public pages, not advice on an individual case. It is you who determine whether your situation falls under French EPR and which schemes concern your products.

FAQ

Do marketplaces register sellers with the French eco-organisations?

No. They read the number and, for some, offer to pay contributions on the seller's behalf for their own sales. The registration is the producer's, directly or through a representative established in France.

Is the number the same on every marketplace?

Yes. The French identifier is attached to the company and the scheme, not to the channel.
